FULL TIME ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITION AVAILABLE WITH UNLIMITED GROWTH POTENTIAL!
Requirements:
- Must have degree in horticulture/plant science OR minimum 4 years of experience working in a greenhouse or otherwise with plants
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must be available to work some weekends in spring and fall
- Must be outgoing, energetic, friendly, and trustworthy
- Job begins in January 2027 with a flexible schedule but heavy in spring and fall, with potential time off in November-December.
We are a small but growing company, in a booming area, who grows and sells annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, and shrubs, and we are looking for someone to take over the daily operations and help us reach our potential. We are committed to producing healthy plants and offering helpful advice, and our ever-expanding customer base all love what we provide them. Because we are a small company, the ideal candidate would be expected to be flexible and do whatever is necessary on a given day. The work could include potting up plants, seeding, helping customers, weeding, pruning, carrying trays, shrubs, trees, and bags of mulch, soil, and fertilizers, sweeping, moving plants and benches, assisting with social media, etc. The assistant manager will be working with the owners and part-time employees and would manage the daily operations when the owners are away from the business.
